Le noyau int\u00e9rieur de 20 cm de large est rempli de b\u00e9ton renforc\u00e9 par des barres d'armature en acier de 15 mm soigneusement positionn\u00e9es sur l'ensemble du mur. De plus, une autre couche de mousse EPS de 8,9 cm a \u00e9t\u00e9 viss\u00e9e au mur ext\u00e9rieur, ce qui donne une \u00e9paisseur totale de pr\u00e8s de 60 cm, une fois les cloisons s\u00e8ches avec leurs attaches int\u00e9rieures et les panneaux d'acier ext\u00e9rieurs inclus.<\/p>\n<p>Un soin particulier a \u00e9t\u00e9 apport\u00e9 pour s'assurer que toutes les ouvertures de fen\u00eatres soient bien scell\u00e9es et isol\u00e9es. Des pi\u00e8ces de mousse EPS ont \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9es \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur des coffrages ICF avant le coulage du b\u00e9ton afin d'\u00e9viter tout pont thermique autour des fen\u00eatres.<\/p>\n<p>Le syst\u00e8me de plancher comporte 26,7 cm de mousse EPS sous la dalle de b\u00e9ton afin d'\u00e9liminer toute perte de chaleur par le sol. Une fois les fondations remblay\u00e9es, nous avons commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 monter la charpente et \u00e0 sur\u00e9lever la structure. Cette structure de 36 x 40 pr\u00e9sente des plafonds de 16 pieds et une porte de garage de 14 pieds de haut. Toutes les fen\u00eatres et portes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fournies par Glengarry Windows and Doors \u00e0 Alexandria.<\/p>\n<h4>R\u00e9sum\u00e9 du projet<\/h4>\n<p>Ce b\u00e2timent est enti\u00e8rement isol\u00e9 par des matelas isolants et des murs, ainsi que par une combinaison de mousse projet\u00e9e et d'isolant souffl\u00e9 au plafond. L'ensemble de la structure est recouvert d'un syst\u00e8me de toiture et de bardage Vicwest extr\u00eamement durable.
